I did a search on the forum and found nothing.

I've heard mixed reviews on ebay kits.
I've heard as long as you keep the turbo between 7-10 psi it'll be ok,
and others have said they are no good at all.

I just want Ia's :2cents: on the subject.
and even better if anyone has ran a ebay kit, what was your results.

Thanks,
Chase

bought one from my friend in need of money for my mustang, i put out close to 400 on 4 psi, i know a few people running them on a b18 and they seem to be fine, dont expect to see huge numbers though, most i see make 400 but thats it

My buddy had one on his zc, ran fine to me(badass). Damn, and I had a friend who had one on his "built" d16 10lbs, blew the motor before the turbo lol. Both where 60trims. Hell I say go for it!

entirely depends on the brand.
Kinugawa is good shit. They're just rebranded Kamak turbos, which are a household name in other parts of the world.

Godspeed is trash.

I am running a complete eBay kit and put down 285@11psi. Had the kit for about a year so far with no issues

Why do they suck, I do not know, maybe because the turbo seals go out all the time, the fake 38 mm have alot of boost creep. The only thing that I woluld ue is the cast-iron manifold, the bov leak boost and the gate will not hold high boost

ebay kits are dependent on what kind of kit you actually get. the ram horns are absolutely terrible, they WILL break at the welds and are made of very thin metal. the wastegates suck, they leak and allow boost creep. the BOV's suck in the cold weather, they freeze up and get stuck. the turbos are ok, use a oil restrictor and your good. the ebay downpipes are garbage, same metal as the ram horn's and they have terrible ground clearance. do not use the oil lines that comes with the kit, most i see leak at the clamps. eh theres more, but little stuff.

you get what you pay for in the end; 600 kit vs a name brand 2400 kit.

well depends on how well u take care of it.my buddy is using a ebay t3t4 turbo and he runs 10psi dd and its still running strong with no signs of smoke or anything and my cuz bought one bout 6 months ago and its still like brand new. just let it cool down properly and ur good.

Ive never heard of an oil restrictor before...

its basically a plate, with a tiny hole in it. what happens alot of the time is people just stick a massive oil feed line into the turbo. obviously the turbo is going to get a good amount of oil, but as you rev higher oil pressure builds which results in blown out turbo seals. get it? oil restrictor is crucial to properly feed to turbo oil without overfeeding it.

Customs put-together kits are alot cheaper. Less than what you may actually think. I wouldn't buy an expensive kit when I could put the same thing together for about 1/2 the price. Just have to know the right people. But sometimes, you can run across some kits other people put together on other fourms. Have you checked a fourm for just Accords?

If it were me, depending on what exactly I was aiming for, Hp/Tq, wise... I'd piece everything together myself. Unless you have baller money to through away on a kit. LOL.

me and baller money shouldnt be in the same sentence haha.

Actually the research I did showed that the Godspeed kits were using Kinugawa turbos back a couple years ago and the Kinugawa started getting a big name and started selling on their own. From there they now are using another brand that looks exactly the same as the original ones but has a different tag on it :) They are more than likely all being made at the same factory somewhere.

i personally have a ebay turbo kit and have no problems at all {knock on wood} pushin 10 pounds boost, right at 300 hp on b18b1, i think its just an opinion of people honestly, i also heard that ebay turbos alot of time r made by well known companys but the turbo might have a small blemish in it so they sell them off to smaller companys that sell the kits on ebay, not sure if its true though. good luck though

I pieced a ebay turbo kit together about a year ago speant maybe li ke 300 at the most put it on my ek hatch ran 8 psi on a 60 trim ebay t3 never had a single problem out of it ran for about a year motor had 200k on it lol slung a rod then I switched it up a little.bought a brandnew t3/t4 ebay turbo and installed it same day I got it and the seals were bad brandnew! Lol but the first kit I pieced together worked perfect not a single problem man everyone always goes for that expensive name brand shit and ebay works juat finw imo id say go for it u will at least have the grou.ds for a kit u can always upgrade the turbo and bov and the ebay wastegate I got on my single rightnow.is the same one ive had for about 3 years now never had a single pronlem out of it lol so I guess its kind of the luck of the draw lol but I say its worth the money! Boost it ftw! And namebrand! Lol

Make sure to use the oil restrictor!!!! Mine put down 250 whp on 8 psi, using a t3/t04 .57 trim, on a b18b1. Spend the extra money and get a Walbro fuel pump, a quality BOV and WG.
