all i have to say is that anyone can make excuses, if something breaks fix it, if something goes wrong change it, if you make 400 and run 11s awesome or 600 and run 10s good job, or 200 and run 14s sweet. is all faster than what i got so i cant complain. but then if your Miller and make 1000hp on a 67 a2a on 24s and runs 8s then the shit talkin and questionable setup can set at play..... lol jk.

I also woul;dnt use jimmys integra to prove anything with .To start off with it made 450hp on mainstreams dyno infront of everybody and im sure it made more then that when it ran 11.0 ill leave that as that .

Joeys car did make around 400hp and he ran 11.1 in a full interior integra so sure it can be done .

I think the whole point here is when you take that next step everything gets harder and takes alot more to get a little . I was running 12.3 consistent before i started making the tourqe i am which is why i couldnt get traction saturday but i didnt realy want to get into all that . Unless you have taken that next step to see just how hard it is i wouldnt judge . Driver mod does matter but anybody racing for ten years should know how to drive to some extent . Im not saying that someone cant get a tenth more out of a car that someone else cant but not a second or even half a second unless you are just a completly shitty driver which anybody racing for ten years isnt.

Im sure the guy questioning me making 252hp got what he wanted with all you guys getting stirred up lol sorry again matt. Again it's extremely hard to just go make xxx whp and run 9s. It doesn't happen. Peter ran 9s with 650 whp then made 1000whp and had 1000 more problems in his new chassis.!

Just to clarify about Peters car. His car was 750hp when he ran 9s. He didnt even run 9s in GA he did it in Rockingham. Shit the night before we where at commerce testing the car and it wouldnt run faster then 10.2, next morning 1st pass in Rockingham 9.8 then a 9.7 Come back to GA, nothing but 10s. That was in his eg.

Also his new car never dynoed a 1000hp the most it did was 894hp. Thats impressive yes, but the real reason that car was sold was the frame on car was twisted. He Could never get a good alignment or balanced out. That car was in a really bad accident years ago. He had the Mph to run 9s, but i guess it was never meant to be.

And your right dyno numbers are just that! A number i know a dude with a 156whp zx10 that you would swear makes 190-200whp like my zx10. Its all in his setup and the rider. Runs constitent low 6's high 5's in the 1/8th

But would you agree the second car was "supposed" to be a much faster car and he had way crazier setup and it just never made it.

Faster car yes, we where expecting more out of it, Crazy set up? not so much! Nothing really crazy about it exept for air to water intercooler oh and the front mount turbo. That turbo kit still lives on, we built Julios Crx and it has perters old turbo kit. We actually dynoing that car next Friday!!! :)

Also times are times. If we are talking about winning events, times play a part but not the whole picture. You can run a 9 in round 1 but if you can't back it up or keep the car together who cares. So you can come on the Internet and say "Ooooo I ran a faster time" but matt doesn't street race. He WINS EVENTS. Or comes pretty close to doing it.

I mean all I heard was all this talk about this midnight auto hatch. And did it even make a pass? I heard it broke. Sucks for them but a "xx second" car means shit if it doesn't make it down the track. Hope they get it together

I remember monys car running low 10s wit like 500-550whp. Crazy times happen. I've seen a ton of cars run super fast with way less power than others so what ? There's also magic tracks. Magic passes,etc

Why is commerce so slow? Reynolds and silver dollar so fast?

I will also say this, I think MAINSTREAMS NEW DYNO reads high. Their new roller I think reads 5-10% higher.

I mean my stock itr made 200whp
A host of h22s making like 240-250whp when almost exact same setups never came close to it
A stock block k20a making 235-240whp when NO OTHER K SERIES CAME WITHIN 220 with MORE MODS.

But that is my opinion. Woul be interesting to see someone dyno front vs back roller

The first set up i built made 226 and was the same motor as jasons . His dynoed 227 but who knows.

Im not saying yours ISNT a 250whp motor at all, im just saying there have been some inconsistent numbers coming out of there, but maybe parts are just that much better nowadays.

I remember if you made 190 you were THE MAN, and my Stock ITR motor with a header made 199. Rediculous. Conversely i cant tell you at least 20 ITR motors that dynoed on mainstreams OLD roller that never made 190 with more mods or similar mods, tuned by the same person.

O so this is how I make 850plus whp I can just putt my car on mainstreams dyno lol... guy hp is only a number only number that matters is the one that pops up at the end of the track... some ppl make over 800 and run tens and some only make 500 and run the same tens. But all that really matters is who's in front when you cross the line

WRONG and WRONG last i checked instead of blowing money like the fucking 20k i spent last year and constantly fighting with my women about all the money i was spending on a car and how we needed a house and etc... i growed out of that shit parted it out and turned to bikes. Its cheaper, 10x's the fun and theres 5x's the events a year and plenty at the track. I can hustle up a run from 100 bucks to 1000 on a test and tune night if i want. Ive been going to the local track every friday and sunday since last august and when are track was closed november and december we was going to cecil and albany. Last i checked i make my stock motor NA bike turn 5.70's and 80's and 8.80's and 90's consistently which is damn good!

If you don't mind me asking what kinda bike you racing. Is it stock wheel base or did you stretch the swing arm.

Its not a sore subject .Im realy happy with the way the car does like it has been stated this car was never built to race but for my dad to drive every day and get good gas mileage. I didnt ask for you to come on here acting like a prick man .If you would have come on here acting like your are now id been glad to answer any question you got. Could the car run a 12.3-12.4 saturday yes it could. Would that have been enough to win nope there were way faster cars out there . I guess you are one of the few people that dont know me and dont know what im doing so if you get a chance go in the all motor section and you can see the motor i just built that is basicaly a clone of mine but mine will make more power. My trany which is a b16 trany with a gsr fourth and ls fifth gear, lsd. 4.9 final drive is posted up in there as well. As of why we dont do that to this car because it was built out of my left over shit for my dad to be able to play with on the street it is not the car we plan to race and the more we do to it the less time we have getting the other car done. Im probably going to start my build thread next week as soon as my block comes back from the machine shop (getting sized for pistons) and you can see what im up to . I dont hide anything because i try to help everybody else go fast and i want a big all motor field . Thats why i showed my ass saturday (even though i new i couldnt win) because im tired of the all motor class being a joke when there is so much potetial out there . If the younger generation dont see it you cant make them beleive it can be done especialy all motor. I will have a tone of power maybe to much for the 4.9 final but ihave another trany built as well. Im not trying to run tens but a mid 11 second all motor car would make me happy . If tens happen then it happens but when you get this far into it there is alot more to do then make power. I got the making power thing down i assure you .I can build a 270-300hp h series all day and do it on a very small budget which i what i try to share with others . I love the sport of racing not winning of course wionning feels good but its not everything . I have won races and i had a better time saturday then i ever have and i lost lol. Also my son said we won daddy so it realy dont matter since he is four lmao.

Ive got a 66" (10"s over) 05 zx10r so no its not stock wheel base but i can still manage high 1.50's low 1.60's 60ft on a stock wheel base bike lowerd and straped.

I like how everyone thinks that since they run 10.8s and 10.9's that they are on the same level as people (Matt) that run consistant 10.1 and 10.2's or even Josh running 10.3 and 10.4s. I think most people think hell it's easy to shave off 6 to 7 tenths. Well it is when you are running 13's. A little seat time, good alignment, tire pressure change, etc and you can pick up half a sec. It's a little harder when you start making more power and get to lower times. Hell I know some 10.5 outlaw guys that will spend hours at the track to just pick up 1 or 2 tenths.

And like Vteckidd said earlier, Matt has never used all the power he has. Hell he hasn't even dynoed the car over 650whp in over a year (was having some ignition issues). The old numbers were just to say he can make that. Hell, Josh hasn't even used all he has.

Take Joey's car for example, he ran 11.1's with 400whp but he was using all 400 all track. Well guess what, Matt's and Josh's cars easily makes over 650whp but do you think they can use that the entire track. So the only time they use that is on the top end. Well guess what, that is how you go from 11.1 to 10.1.

And Blake will you please bring your Full interior, full weight, full whatever car to the track so Jody can take his Full interior, Full weight, power windows, sub and amp Civic and have a little fun "street" car shootout.

justin i promise you mike (kidd racing )knows what hp is lol. We have been friends for along time and were just having a discussion he is not talking shit lol. Man is everybody in this thread touchy and ready to snap lmao.

I have gotten nothing but great service from scotty and from hearing all the shit when me and al had his dyno up and running i dont want this thread to turn into a bashing mainstreams dyno lol. To be honest no matter what anybody says yes it is just that easy to change a few numbers and make a dyno read what ever you want it to . So if your comparing whos dick is bigger use the same dyno on the same day or take it to the track. What did impress me was about ten years ago i made 185hp (stock h22) on als dyno (we was playing around trying the new dyno out) and it ran a 13.6 at 100. I ran a 13.6 at a 101 the next day at the track so that was pretty cool. back to back passes all day same result.

Funny, I don't think Our dyno reads higher, hell my car made the same power on both dynos w/ stock motor...?

Typical people taking my words out of context. I said I think SOME of the NA cars numbers are interesting. Because no one made big power until the new dyno. And several setups from old to new make way more than before

That's all take it how you want.

Track times compliment Hp , and vice versa. No one ever said that it didnt
