It should work just fine without activation, my guess is you want to use it like an ipod touch. Make sure you put it in airplane mode to disable the 3g modem and extend your battery life.

Just FYI, this is the same price it would be to renew your contract and get one.

2. yes you can get this phone if you renew...but if you not up for a renew for another year then this is perfect for whoever. so fuck off.....wait are you gunna neg rep me? lol like that would matter bitch.
