d-series sohc non-vtec zc, though that Doesn't matter, its overheating and....

new:
water pump
head gasket
and bypassed the heater-core

is the head cracked or am i insane?

Thermostat is my guess. And also the cheapest so doesn't hurt to knock that one out.

Thermostat. And if it dosent have one, Try a new temp sensor like the Irishman suggested.

You might need a new distributor... your's might be throwing off the timing and therefore causing to overheat... :ninja:

I have one in perfect condition that I'll sell to a fellow IA member for $40 :)

^^ never heard of that, or maybe you were just kidding. I would be sure the fans work and check the t stat.

haha well thanks for the input guys there is no thermostat at the moment id thought of that, so i guess im down to temp sensor, does get a slight skip after it warms up occaisionally also.
