When I turn my key on all the lights on the cluster are dim and slowly blink. While all thats happen the main relay clicks like crazy as well. With all this going I can not crank the car when I try the main relay just clicks more. After all that I disconnect the battery for a few mins and then reconnect it. Then after its reconnected the car will start with no problem at all the main relay dont click and the lights dont blink. Any info of what this might be will be really appreciated.

Thanks

sounds like you might have a bad battery connection. ive had a similar problem before and it was because my terminals were corroded.

Yeah a bad battery terminal or a bad ground can cause this. I had the same issue with my old civic and it was the ground wire on the engine near the coolant temp sensor.

Well this morning I went out to crank it up and it did the same. After I disconnected the battery it still didn't work. I guess when I get off work I'll go home and check all my grounds real good.

Just got home and check and cleaned all my grounds. Now when I try to start it the main relay isn't clicking anymore and now the cluster lights just go completely out.

Check the grounds again sounds still like its a bad grounding issue
