i have a gsr with its pistons. the current setup has about 130000 on it. i bought a kit. t3 t4 turbo. i was wondering if anybody has ever boosetd one? i kow the high comp an the its ring lands are a major factor. i want to find another block to build it but until then do this. i just want to get some feedback on this from people that has the knoledge about this. i mean i was thinking i could but no more than 5psi. which would still make power because of the high comp. i duno, just me thinking and reading. but me thinking is allways a bad thing. lol. im open to comments.

i built a gsr last year with jdm itr pistons, i calculated the compression around 10:5-11:1 area w/ a standard OEM headgasket... with that being said, you could run 5 psi with a VERY good tune. also a cheap way to be safer is to get a thicker headgasket and ARP studs.

You can do it, just go with E85 as a fuel if you can. The detonation resistance will allow you to push it a lot farther than regular 93 octane. It's all in the tune.

there is no way i can get e85 where i live so im stuck with 93. will add some octane boost every fill up i guess.

No need for E85, just throw an 8psi spring in the gate, have it tuned and rock out. The weak ring lands are on the B16 pistons.
