So I'm on the hunt for a newer work/family vehicle.

I am a property adjuster. I keep gear and a ladder with me every day. Keep that in mind.
I'm in need of a new vehicle. Here are my choices.

A: 2005+ Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4 V8
B: 2004+ Toyota 4runner 4x4 V8
C: 2005+ Toyota Tacoma Crew Cab 4x4 4.0 V6

Anyone had one of these? The Tacoma is the most expensive. The Grand Cherokee is the cheapest.

What do yall think? Any other vehicle reccomendations in this sort of class?

Has to be 4x4 and if its optional I want a V8 to tow my boat. The boat weighs 4000 lb.

This is a daily type of vehicle.

If you're hauling much in the cab with you the Tacomas really aren't very big. I had an 06 for a while. Have you thought about a fullsize like a crew cab Tundra or Titan? I get 18mpg city in my Titan on 285's if I drive sensible and have TONS of room.

I would love a new Tundra. 4x4 Crew would be the shit. However, for the what I'm wanting to spend (15k) I can't find any with under 100k. Even at the Auctions which I have compete access to Manheim its all the same. 15k is my top dollar unfortunately.

My gym parter has an 08 Tacoma Crew cab long bed and I borrow it all the time. Love the damn thing.

Ive had my fair share of big trucks. My 04 F250 was great, but a pain in the ass to park, not to mention maintenance. I'm over all that junk.
