I wasn't aware those were factory made in the newer models...........I knew they used to make what was called a VW fox.

Cause we have owned so many. And never seen a jetta coupe. The only car I seen that's a sedan and. Coupe its the golf gti and the golf gl. Maybe its a mod for some of us ?

No, you didn't fail . VW made Mk1 and Mk2 Jetta coupes but not Mk3/4/5. There has been a handful of people to do conversions on mk3/4 but they were never offered from the factory. It has been scheduled for the Mk6 jetta to have a coupe variation and it will be the first since '92.
