View Full Version : any tip of flushing coolant from oil???

i had a bad blown headgasket all good now but my motor is full of shit. ive changed the oil like 5 times trying to flush it out but still comes out milky as fuck, i really dont wanna pull the motor apart. any ideas or tips on what with flush all the gunk out faster??

May be best to run it over to a shop to have them do a coolant flush. I think they do it under pressure so it all can come out.

edited because you want an engine flush, not radiator flush...
you can buy engine flush at an autoparts store.
or, add some marvel mystery oil or auto trans fluid to the oil, run for a while, then change it.
or, go to a repair shop that offers it.

I think he called our shop today. We told him Marvel's or Trans fluid also.

seafoam is inside your motor, nowhere close to oil.

It is if you pour it in the oil right? I've added it to my oil before. I was just wondering if it would fit the job.

seafoam is for removing carbon from your combustion chamber from what i understand.....

thanks guys ima try the tranny fluid, but seafoam is for just about anything oil gas whatever. hopefully this works so i can make it to jj spec for a re tune and silver dollar when they open
