i came in fully expecting carbon panels. its a nice car, no doubt id drive one, but not with all that unnecessary trim.

So far.... the rest of the pieces are being finished up. The other passenger side door insert, engine cover and missing knee console piece thing.

Only have exhaust but focusing on exterior prior to performance. Next: 20's 20x9 front, 20x11 rear, lowered, with lip kit.

Roof is either being wrapped in carbon fiber OR I may just simply paint it black. Depending on how sure I am of stripping the paint on my roof :)

PS: nice marriage cuts

sorry, getting there :)....remaining interior pieces and engine cover will be finished tomorrow and on car next week. Then Roof will perhaps be the next project. Not looking at carbon fiber fender or body kits.... I believe this is all I am going to do with the Carbon Fiber.

please whatever you do - do not put 20's on this car. Kills the performance, and the style period. Won't be able to turn either. Take it from me I had 19" 10.5 Ro_ja's and those were almost too big.

I know there not the best for performance but Im not looking to destroy anybody soon lol. Plus... i would go with a 20 that weighs from 22-28. The 370z needs twenties... A few pics below to help change your mind :)

They come 18's for base, 19's for sports and nismo....

i would do 19's for sure. 20 just looks "clunky", but go for the gold and change our minds man.

idk man I will forever say that 20's on a z are not a smart soon. Forget destroy, you wont even be able to preform with ur car. If you want show - which seems like your route - then be my guest. Just don't expect to run with me. Here is a quick pic of my ex setup. And this is on stock suspension.

by the time I invest into a stillen supercharger or gtm tt kit THEN i would consider smaller rims... but to be honest... unless I have performance to that extent, I wont be racing anybody in the near future anytime soon. Plenty of modded cars that run 12's-13's and my car runs low 13's. Thats something that a boosted mustang can destroy... "nemesis for example"

This all the way, 20's will kill wheel speed and hamper performance

wouldnt it be worth it just to get a carbon fiber hatch and roof panel? youll get the performance gains too.

Seems like whoever did the trim pieces (was it you?) did a great job, so do the roof too. I thought they were aftermarket pieces at first until a few pics later where you had the pieces laid out. Great job!! And thanks for posting those other Z's. I say go for the 20's. It's your car, and it'll look great (well, if you get the right 20's that is, heheh)

Love that white one too. Couple other ones were really nice too, but that white one did it for me.

yeah i agree the z does need some sort of ground effects, lip, diffuser, etc, thats why i went with a nismo though :) but still love the base/sport/touring though
