So I was getting cabin fever and decided to drive into work (around the Lenox area near RuSans), and I see an upcoming ice patch that had not thawed out. I slow down to drive over it slowly, and this jackass behind me starts laying on his horn..... seriously?!

My speed limit at work for the whole three days I was there was 45 at best when conditions permit. Some jerk off in a Mercedes came up behind me blaring his horn, came around me, blurted expletives, and proceeded to haul ass down the interstate. Not two minutes later, I passed him as he hit a patch of ice, spun out, and tagged a wall. I lol'd for a minute as I passed him and went about my business. People in Atlanta are always in a hurry. Snow and ice doesn't stop them.

At least it was white ice, that way it didn't try to steal your wallet.

atlanta drivers just suck in general. i actually welcome bad weather keeps most of the idiots off the road and allows me to just focus on driving and not dodging

The worst is people from up north driving fancy lexuses and shit with AWD/TCS/stability control who think they can drive the same insane speed regardless of the conditions...:screwy:

People who don't have the slightest idea of how to drive in these conditions really piss me off. If you don't have the slightest clue of how to drive in snow/ice conditions, please just stay the fuck home.

my cousin's car got stuck in his drive way ( he lives a street down from us) so my brother took my dad's f150 over there ( since his s2000 is down at the moment ) and help push the car out of his drive way. brother parked the f150 on the side of the road, off the street in the grass/dirt whatever with caution blinker on and head light/tails on.
this mofo comes flying down the road in his job's pick up truck going 60mph+. about 50 feet away, he started sliding. ram dad's f150's truck bed, flies into my cousin's yard's ditch. fly over the ditch into his neighbor's ditch, over the neighbor's ditch into their neighbor's ditch.
it was all fucked up lmao. his job's truck is completely totaled. our f150 only suffer a truck bed, bumper and a tail light in which that mofo is going to replace.

These stories do not suprise me at all....most of the northern people come down and are rude/careless drivers. Driving around like they got a stick up their ass! Fucking idiots.

same thing happened to me wednesday on my way to work. i was driving slow through ice, the lady in a minivan was on my ass and honking and flashing her lights.........soooooooooo i flipped her off. (the yankee inside came out to play) when we stopped at the stop sign she got out of her car and came to my car. i took off because i didnt want her fucking with my car. then called lake city pd and they pulled her over. because that place is a speed trap.

Ice don't give a shit if you have FWD, RWD, AWD, 1WD, 4WD, WD40, or an etch-a-sketch. Gonna slide regardless. Your tires are what's gonna matter.

I don't agree. I've had good luck with an etch-a-sketch...

Chains or studs :D I saw a guy at the pulix right next to my apartment with chains on last Tuesday. He was the only one that needed to be on the road that day.

You're right about the chains but if you don't have access to chains, then good tread is gonna matter.

I'm tried but I always lost that game :ninja:
