Keep it stock, save your money, and be glad you probably have a reliable car.

he has a point but it really depends on the road you wanna take in my personal opinion there is 2 routes, you could keep it all motor do a mini me swap and maybe throw some p29 pistons and it be some what quicker,if you want a little bit of get down though i would boost it put 6 lbs on a small turbo like a t25 for quick spool...makes for a fun little toy...if you go boost just as anyone will tell you TUNE TUNE TUNE!!!

pour sugar in the engine and destroy it, then upgrade to a bigger engine.

there's alot of people that can do it in your area...but honestly...forget the mini me. p29 piston's and do a some head work. o yea d16y8 2 layer head gasket too. or just get a d16a6 with p29's with what ever head gasket you want.

Just swap the head to a z6 (remove oil dowel), buy a p28, run the vtec solenoid and pressure switch wires, use a y8 2 layer head gasket like ^^^ said, and get your self a Ex/Si trans too. Cheap and reliable and capable of being better later. Easy to DIY!!!!!
