Just picked up

Just bought a 99 Civic Hatch last night with a h22 in it. Mods to the engine with intake, exhaust and a clutch). Looks all the controls for the butterflies is missing(except the one of the intake of course). The egr isn't connected to any vacuum. It has a p13 ecu with a jumper harness at the ecu. There is some new wires at the injectors. Car runs pretty good. Vtec comes in around 5600rpms according to the ls gauge cluster that is in it.


Should i just leave the butterflies open? Just get a euro r manifold? I already have a header i'm going to get.

You are prolly talkin about the IAB's and the car prolly has a chipped ecu and you prolly have bigger injectors....and if its running good i would PROLLY leave it alone.

Yeah, the iab's don't work since the electrical side isn't there, the piece under the intake that is. It does run good in the higher rpms, but below vtec it's kinda sluggish. I will pull the ecu cover off tomorrow and see if it's chipped(p13 is in it). It has a resistor box on the passenger firewall, so it might have bigger inj, don't know yet. Not enough time to fully look it over yet.
