Looks like the rings in my wife's z6 are going, so I need a GOOD d series bottom end.
I don't really care which d series it is, as long as I can put her z6 head and accessories on it and it run right.
She can't be without a car long enough for me to rebuild, so I need something I can just swap her parts over to, drop in and go in one weekend.
Like I said, guys, this is for my wife's car and she drives 60 miles a day, for work.
I gotta know that the block, cylinders, crank, pistons, rings, rods and all the bearings, seals, pumps and EVERYTHING are up to the task, without any problems.
So, please don't try to sell me anything that you won't stand behind or wouldn't trust to get your wife around safely!
I've got some cash in hand and ready to buy the right bottom end A.S.A.P.
I've also got the following, to trade or trade plus cash, if interested...
- a good z6 head
- a good '99 Ls head with IM (just might need resurfacing)
- almost new Civic radiator (bought new and only used for 6 months)
- an OBD2 Ls automatic ecu
- Hell, I'll even throw in her old z6 block, for the right deal, if someone has time to re-ring it. It has about 168,XXX miles and runs great, just smokes.
