lol yeah theres not alot you can do the them unless you want to do a jdm swap, RL swap and lower it. the car looks better now since i have been going to pull a part to get stuff that the car was missing.

Nice chrome/polished wheels and lose the wheel gap and you're done. No sense in making this car look like every Honda Civic out there. This car is too classy for that. Later, QD.

Agreed, lower it and get some wheels. Even a newer set of legend wheels would be an improvement. Good luck and nice starting point.

Are you sure thats a GS? If so, it looks like someone took the GS wheels off of it. Is the jdm motor better than the type II's that already came in the GS models?

it is a GS the jdm typeI i have has more horsepower and torque then the type II. the only different between to usdm type I and type II is the intake manifold and throttle body.

Outside the NSX, this is the best Acura ever made. Made in Japan (not America like some new ones), real wood (not fake like new ones), 230hp V-6 (still comparable to what they offer today) with a manual offering. Built like a tank and still looks good today.

GS is rare, nice car, keep it clean. Its FWD please avoid teh silly staggered on FWD trend.

always loved these Legends, all the way up to 238,000 miles and sold for $2,200 back in '04. Great power, and feel too!

Yours tho.. Still looks mostly stock. My favorite is the 6 speed, 2nd is the 5sp and finally the atuo = meh.

Wow cant believe I missed this thread. I hate to break it to you buddy, but your car is an L model with LS wood grain center dash, how can i tell? The GS came with several options including Heated seats, Digital Climate control, GS hammer style wheels, traction control, wood grain, more aggressive suspension, and a sunken grille that was painted body color.

As far as the difference between the USDM and JDM legends there are a great number of those too, and Type II engines in Japan still came with the TYPE II badge on the engine, your engine unfortunately is still a type one.

Here you can easily see the grille: http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b134/smokinfastlegend/100_3246.jpg

the legend guys in atlanta try to stick together, since enthusiasts for these cars are a dying breed, so head on over to acuralegend.org if you need or want to find out more info on these cars.

As far as your car, its a good base to create something unique.

I like legends, but people have made me fear their reliability! But I still have a thing for them!

Legends are reliable cars if taken care of. Ultimately they require just an active owner, but as long as you run honda coolant through it and change the timing belt and water pump every 90k you should be fine.

The GS I posted is my dads, and his has 229k miles on it and it has only been through a seeping head gasket.
