FS: Ballers Only.. Candy Teal BBS RS with tires

Well I just finished these and put a LOT of work into these. I have a build thread called "Time to whore the wagon" in the wheels and tires forum. I am not 100% sold on selling them but will for the right price. A friend of mine has a set of wheels I want to rebuild that are just as baller as these if not more lol... The wheels and tires have maybe 200 miles on them since the rebuild.. They were pulled off the car today and are sitting in the shop. I plan on retorqueing (sp) the bolts and cleaning them up and not running them in the winter. They look amazing and even though they were only on the car for about 5 days I had people at the gas station, grocery store, the shop, and other places stop and stare. Some took pictures. Had a couple of guys pull up next to me on the interstate and take pics lol... They draw attention.

225/45/17 Nexxen N3000 tires (only 200 miles or so on them)

Rear:

245/40/17 Nexxen N3000

Wheels were pulled completely apart. The lips and center caps were sanded down and then mirror polished. They have brand new bolts all around. The barrells and faces were media blasted. The barrells were powder coated with gloss black. The faces were done with a 3 stage powder coat process. Started with a vacuum prime for a smooth surface, then Bengal Silver powder coat, then shot with candy teal over that. They turned out great!!!

Price: Once again I spent a LOT of time and a LOT of money on these. Sooo... I am going to say $2400 picked up $2575 shipped FIRM HUGE PRICE REDUCED

They are still sick none the less and the lips look deeper than they are on the car bc of the mirror polish. Im ready for my next set of wheels to refinish lol. My buddy is holding on to the wheels I want for me for a while so I have time to find a buyer for these. I may also consider trades for some NICE 18" staggerred wheels plus cash.. Must be REAL wheels in a trade though, no replicas please

I will say this... Brand new in 1991 they cost $7300 for just the wheels and they are copper plated ;) They have sat in storeage for approximately 11 years and are perfect sizes and offsets... So help me sell my wheels lol.. I am willing to accept trade offers as long as they arent rediculous.. I could use a nice daily driver.. It would have to be clean though.

Nice looking wheels, but that price may be a little tough to swallow. May have been able to pull that price had you bought larger lips, etc.. There are plenty of sets just on vwvortex alone that are pretty comparable for much less. but GLWS nonetheless, just remember that your time is not worth money.

your front pair of rs' are bbs rs 262. 8 is the original wheel size. meaning there's still half inch lips up front aka half a set of stock lipped rs'. I'm just not a fan of stock lipped rs, even though i own a set (to be lipped though, of course.)

These wheels new were over $3000 from BBS. Discontinued several years ago. They have been around the scene for many years! I just want these gone.
