93 civic car heat

I need help when ever i drve my car my heat blow cold air and alittle warm heat but if i just let it sit n run it blow hot until i drive it again anybody noe wat wrong

gotta be your thermostat. either its messed up or has been removed.

x2 on thermostat.

could be a stuck/broken blend door not allowing air to flow through the heater core, but less likely that the thermostat...
