How Did IA.com started w/ some CLiff notes... Maybe?

I people ask me almost weekly basis.. SO here it is


"Julio Bored online browsing Honda-acura.net back in 2000 came up with an idea about making a local site for everyone, just not on group of folks.
Julio shared this idea with Chris Aka 4bangin on IA, He said sounds cool
Julio Talks with his buddy who knew a little bit about websites.
That Friend was Brian Miller, He said it may work.
A month later a Name and Site are born in late 2000.
We lauched the site in FEB 2001
In 2003, Julio meets up with Chris aka CBT to create a new site a spinoff from IA.com, we called it Importsouth.com, Didnt go to well.
IA.com was back again.
After the Split..Julio ask Pablo for help..
Pablo helps with the site, bringing in more members, making contacts.. etc etc.
We needed a website, Julio has no website skills. Pablo didnt either.
Julio Contacts a Guy Name Rushi, He did good for about 2 month after that he went MIA.
Now IA.com is stuck with No webmaster.... After a long night of partying, Pablo tells Julio, You should ask Paul from PI if he would like to get involved.
I gave it some thought.. A couple of days after that, I called Paul, he said yea, I would like to help with the design.
As time when on, Paul started getting more involved with the marketing side of it and running the site.

And BAM.. here we are..

AS you can see, we Been through some bumpy roads. If bringing Paul in wouldve failed.. Who knows what this site wouldve looked like today or where it would be.
He has taken this site to another level. Thanks Paul!

lol....he was on the street racing scene for a little bit, but everyone hated his guts for all the shit talking he'd do with just a itty bitty A-trim, and then he got that shitty crapmaro with a Lt1 and thought it was the fastest thing to hit the streets....when I ran with Stoney and crew, we all would just avoid him at all costs.

of course I know Henry! Mikey (porkchop), Stoney, Kris&Josh King, Jason, old man Bill, I knew'em all pretty well. I was there when Clint got into the fist fight with that 40yr old dude at Publix...that was classic...they got kinda close to my car, so I hopped in and back it up a few spots so they had more fightin room :)

i know when i first came onto the site we were doing 40-70gb a month of transfer we are now on the road to breaking over 200gb a month... in the past 2 years we have taken IA to a whole new level... we learn as we go - we try to do what think is in the best interest for the site and for the scene. be on the look out for a whole new IA come 06' we have tons of plans for IA.
