Torque on FWD's

I know this sounds like a gay question but I am just wondering what it's like having a lot of torque on FWD car (275 lbs +). I'm just wondering because my car only has like 170 lbs at the wheels and when if i am just driving normal and accelerate in first the tires spin sometimes, especially when you floor it it makes the car start wanting to turn and what not. I just wanna know what its like for the SRT4 guys with high torque and some of the other guys on here.

mine sucks. spins in first, second and some third. If tires are a little wore out, its wheel spin in 4th.

my car doesnt have an assload of torque but its weird how different it feels compared to my 98 lude i had before, it feels like its so much faster but its got the same HP...

i have minimal torque but still spin halfway through 2nd if i shift well below redline (max torque)...fresh tires on dry asphalt too. Pre-LSD i could spin through 3rd.

It's funny when even remotely wet...light them up 3rd, spin through 4th & sometimes 5th. I don't know how the turbo peoples can drive their car sometimes.

You wont torque steer in 3g eclipse unless you put a big turbo on it.

You just aren't making enough power to do anything.

I had about 240/240 to the wheels in my g20 and didn't even torque steer that bad. I had an lsd but still.

I have the same problem, if I get on it on the hwy it just spins on high boost, and thats on drag radials, scary shit when the tires want to break loose going 140+mph..

I haven't really had any real issues.

I mean I have 302 ft lbs, and I only spin in 1st, I don't really torque steer that bad (except almost hit the wall twice in montgomery.)

But I drive daily on radials with like 15psi of air pressure and I have a stock LSD.
