Have 93 civic eg hatch
b16a
RC 550cc injectors
hondata s300
turbonetics t3/t4
mishimoto 3" fmic
type r cams
blah blah blah
havent threw in new rods or pistons or head studs or bearings yet
so was just wondering what a safe psi to run at would be? 6 psi or can i go higher. i heard i could go up to 10 but that seems pushing it till the internals get thrown in.

Horsepower is actually a limit NOT psi. What power is it making at 6psi? All setups are different, ive seen a sohc make over 200 on 8psi, but a dohc not make 200 at 8 psi.

b16's are weak. period. you should pick up a spare 1.8L bottom end and build that..... just a thought.....

8 to 10psi @ the most anymore than that your going to be on the side of the road wishing you hadnt messed with the boost settings.. I had a crvtec et up with rods and pistons and ran 16psi all the time for about a year then cracked all 4 sleeves. If your going to repalce the rods get some sleeves, spend the extra $ and have fun not a headache.
