I thought that same thing. Only thing I can think of is the strap started coming loose and the tester tried to compensate for that and lost it.

im sure the strap was burned by the dumptube or touching exhaust or something. Those are straps don't just snap like that, ESPECIALLY the front ones which don't have any torque applied other than your hand torque.
