so is the blower not working or the heat? if the bower isn't work 9 out of 10 its either the switch (the 1-4) or the motor it self.

replace the resistor first, its the cheapest easiest thing to replace

do some testing before you start goin out and buying stuff,
one or two ways to test out the switch if its either burnt out or just not working. or three there is a blower motor fuse on the kick panel. but
- unplug the switch and use a jumper wire, and use a jumper wire connect one end of the wire to the constant power or hot and connect the other to the ground (its up to you to find out the levels), but this is jumping the motor directly from the switch point of view if nothing happend, the motor is out. If the motor kicked on the switch is out.
- to check if the resistor is bad, id just unplug it and unbolt it (only two screws) and see if the wire is broken, its only a single coil wire and you can see if its broken or not.
-another way to check it is ign on and unplug the power wire going to the motor and turn on the switch to 4 or which ever level and and hook a testlight to the power and ground from the plug and if your getting power from it the switch is good and the motor is bad.
- or the ghetto way take the motor out and jump the motor by putting a ground and power to it from a battery and if it works its something else and if it doesnt its the motor.
-but check the fuse.
