Shops are pricing this to be way too expensive so I've decided to try and tackle the headers in my garage. First im thinking i need to remove the intake manifold to get to the back of the engine and using ramps to get under the car for the Y-pipe. anyone think think there's a problem with the way im planning on doing it yet?

If you don't know what you're doing then I would leave this to someone more experience. This isn't as simple as it sounds. You don't need ramps, just jack the front end up on stands.

yeah, i looked it over and decided against it. I never ordered the headers they just appeared on my fron door one day. I just cut a chunk out of the plastic skid plate on the driver side so my Intkae can get cooler air and it acctually worked quite well. Oh and i just have Ramps not Jack Stands.
