Nissan Nx 1600 Tranny Problem

Hey guys. I recently swapped the tranny on my Nx and every gear went through smooth except 5th. The only way it goes into gear is if I put enough pressure pushing it in and hold it in, but other than that it spits out the gear. My brother drove my car yesterday and someone spoke to him about the tranny problem and told him it was a common problem in those trannys. He didn't want to tell my brother how to fix it, so i was wondering if anyone alse knew how to fix that, because its getting kind of annoying to drive on 4 gears every day haha.. Well any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
