Ok so my d15b swap in my 96 civic with a y8 ecu is not running right..
Car cranks but randomly cuts off..
Won't go past 4k
Car tugs when its in gear and gas is pressed..
Any1 know of a mechanic or shop who can possibly fix my car??
Some1 who does good work and is affordable?
Anywhere in or near the marietta area...

if ur ecu is chipped it could easliy be the chip poped out needs to be rear grounded. if u know what ur doing take out the ecu and open it up. shop will charge u for this shit.

check ytour codes first. autozone/advanced/orileys. if its sckf, get a p28 like stated abot with an obd2a to obd1 jumper harness. better than replacing that bastard of a sensor.

if it run fine in his car then its 9 times out of ten something you did . I own a shop but its in macon so ill try to help you as much as i can on here . I need everything you did as in did you swap motor strait to your car or did you swap wiring harnesses onthe motor are you running your distributor or his because it sounds like a distributor problem. Did the swap come out of the same year make and model cars because there are a few cars that have a few different wires beleive it or not obd1 is not always obd1 the same in obd2 they change a few wires in certain cars dont ask me why kinda stupid. Normaly if a car want rev past 4000 its the crank angle sensor on the front of the motor or in the distributor did you do a timing belt because if its one tooth off it threws the crank sensor off which will cause this problem my point is i need to know everything you did when you swapped the swap and whos stuff you used so i can help thanks.
