I was wondering what all I need to strip off the donor car for this swap. I know the linkage, shifter, clutch lines, reservoir, petal assembly, ecu. What else will I need to take off and do I need to change brake petals? Are axles the same and will I need to change harness? Thanks in advance for the help IA!!!!

auto to manual conversion mount. shift linkage, all pedals, possibly the throttle cable depending on what style your inner is. All the clutch lines and reservoir. some simple wiring so your reverse lights will work. Slave cylinder trans etc.

O.k. how easy are the pedals to remove and change? Can I just use clutch pedal? I have a whole other coupe that's 5 speed but totaled in rear that I'm taking everything off of. Wiring I'll need, do I just unplug the auto trans shifter connector and leave it?

No you gotta get rid of the big brake pedal. And the wiring has to be from the auto shifter into the engine bay.

Tell me if this is going to work. The donor car is a 95' Ex 5 speed, the pass side tranny mount bracket (the one welded to the car) is straight but on the 93 it slants up. The mounts are all different too so I'm wondering which ones to use and if I have to change those brackets. If so I'm screwed I have no way to remove it or weld it back in.

the frame mount is different from the auto and manual ones, you have the choice to either drill and weld the manual frame mount to the car and use the manual tranny mount. OR you can buy the hasport auto to manual tranny mount which is around 120 bucks.

^^^I'd go for the mount so you've got choices if you want to go back auto ever. It's pretty easy to do.

I just left it in and the motor went in fine, sits a tad high on the pass side but everything is good. I'll go back and change it later if need be. Now as far as the pedal assembly goes I tried to remove them today and the steering column was in the way. I was going to remove the brake pedal all together but couldn't get to the bolts. I just saw-zawed the left side of the pedal off lol. man this was a lot more work than I thought. thanks guys.

Yeah I have never done it before. I'll be done today for sure, just have to wire it up and change all fluids.

Does anyone know how to remove pedal assembly?

You have to disconnect it from the master cylinder push rods and unbolt it. Might help to drop the column too. Dont forget to grab the clutch hydraulic line too.

Also if you leave the shifte installed and tuck it under the dash put it in park you can use the automatis ecu works great just to let you know and you can drill a hole a little lower in the mount if your strapped for cash to buy the hasport.

I have the manual p28 and the auto, I just don't have reverse lights wired yet. If I drilled a hole in the bracket it would still be too far forward just lower.

Why not just buy a mount for a little over $100 instead of being a cheap ass?
