Here I have my 1991 Galant VR-4 for sale. It is basically an evo before the evo was released. It is AWD Turbo and has Four wheel Steering. I got the car about 4 months ago from Glides and he got it from 1439/2000. These cars are very rare with only 3009 of them ever shipped to America with 3000 of them being badged. 2k in 1991 and 1k in 1992. There's no telling out of those 3000 how many have been wrecked or crushed.

Pictures:
Has the aerocatch flush mount hood pins instead now.

Has a double din radio now, and the SAFC II is in the glove box. The seats are also clean now.

Doesn't have the Strut Tower bar anymore, and has a new radiator.

This particular car is number 1439/2000 in 1991.
It is 1 out of 1004 white cars ever shipped
It is 1 out of 337 white sunroof cars shipped in 1991.
It is 1 out of 132 white cars with the A70 option shipped in 1991.
So as you can see it is a very rare car.
Info from http://www.galantvr4.org/rhertz/count.asp
The car was also featured in S3 Magazine in January of 2007.

I really do not want to sell this car and I don't have to. I got another car imported from Japan and would rather have the extra money to put into it.

Bads: 4WS leaks a little over time, Head needs a valve job smokes at idle and downshifting(reflected in price). ISC is deleted so it has trouble idleing when it's cold, but when it warms up it idles fine.

I love this car it is loads of fun to drive, and it is very different. It is Modified in just about every way it could be and it is pretty fast. Similar setups have went mid 12's in the 1/4 mile.

Now to the price I have had a lot of debating on this. The guy that built the car and did the majority of the mods on the car was asking $12k and I have put close to $2k into it since I've had it. But I don't get expect to get that much out of it. So my asking price will be:
$8500 OBO
Price is very negotiable.

Trades: I am interested in trades for just about anything. I really want to get something I can drive everyday and cash on top.
Please be realistic with your trade offers. This car has been very well taken care of by the past 3 owners and I'm sure before that as well. So much time and money was not put in this car just to be offered your piece of shit ragged out car.

Book on mine is 10,700. kbb is inacurate if that's your source. Try edmunds.com. I was thinking your car and 3.

No thanks. Majority of banks use NADA and clean book there is around $8000. KBB is around $7500 clean private party. I've never even heard of edmunds.

At 22 I'm not surprised. And banks go on what they sell for, which is what edmunds looks at. This isn't a "clean" example, it is a pristine one, and even KBB says 9,200. Regardless, best of luck, you'll need it.

At 22. Haha you're funny. It doesn't matter what my age is that doesn't change what your car is worth and look on craigslist at what they go for. I guess you're computer looks up a different kbb than mine. Iv'e got more in the car than my asking price anyways. Go and find a gvr4 and put the mods on it that mine has and make it as clean as mine and come back to me and tell me how much you have in it. Even if you could source half of the parts you would have substantially more in it than my asking price. Ohh well either way I would never add $3k on top of my car for a car that might sell for $9k.

Bump!!

Um....banks don't go on what cars sell for, banks go on Loan Value. A bank will not loan you the full asking price on a used car unless they are asking loan value. Banks will also not look at Edmunds 99% of the time. Every bank i've dealt with went for NADA first then KBB Second. They are the most widely recognized.

Loan value is determined on many things John, you and I both know this. I doubt a 22 year old could even get a loan on it being over 100k miles. My bank BofA gave it a loan value of 12.

You don't know me I got a $20k loan on an Evo when I was 19. So yet again it doesn't matter what your bank values it at, it matters what they are valued around my area. The only reason I would have of traded for your car is because it's stock and stock cars are easier to sell which is what I would have done with it. No offense to you or anyone driving an Is300, but I don't like them they are slow and just not really that cool.

That's cool man. It doesn't really matter who gave it what, you know how the market and the game is. You offered, he didn't accept. No big deal. Snarking on his thread about the luck he's going to need in selling it is just a little overboard bro. I KNOW his car, i've owned it and driven it. It's one of the nicest cars i've owned and worth every penny he's asking.

So a simple, "No problem" would have sufficed, there was no reason to get snotty at him because of his idea on what his car is worth. I thought what you were asking for your Audi Wagon was incredibly steep, but I didn't hate on ya for it. It was your car, your price.

I wasn't meaning to come off the way I did, throwing your guess at kbb on my car when your's kbb "might" be 1k is dumb. I offered a good luck being in these times, you will need it. As far as is's go, its 240hp rwd w/lsd, its plenty fun, and a twin turbo swap is easier than a b16 honda swap.

But that's cool man, no worries on not making a deal, best of luck and yes, your car is very clean.

ps: john, i think my old audi is for sale locally for much less this time lol.
