I'm looking to purchase a amplifier for my JL Audio 12' w0v2 subwoofer. I've eyeing these two amps but I want a second opinion before I make a purchase. I'm looking to spend no more than $150 on an amp. You guys have any other suggestions other than these two?

MSPR on the Memphis PR500.1 is $269.95

A Rockford Fosgate R250.1 is in the $150 range, and a great bang-for-the-buck.

Guys are a lot nicer nowadays lol.. Last time I asked the same question I got monster flamed with, "WOW newb, never would I even consider an audio car part for that cheap, just save up and by a REAL one!"

Sorry for the vent - I have owned a Profile California series for 5 years and it's never had a problem, but they don't sell them anymore so what does that say lol.. used one?
