I'm a noob when it comes to electrical problems. Mechanical I'm pretty good at. Been hitting the FSM hard lately...lil confusing at times. I recently swapped in another SR from a wreck. Odometer read like 207k. lotta miles but still kicking. Since the first time I fired it up it was hard to start when cold and idle is kinda rough at times(sounds almost like its missing). The first time I read codes I got 13-temp circut, 21-ignition circut, and 34 detonation\knock sensor circut. Cleared all codes and 34 came back so that's where I started. The old one was toast so I got a new one, but still got that damn code. I tested the det sensor and wires per FSM and it all seems straight. My timing is all over the place because this code. Ive also tested injectors, AIV, TPS, MAS, Set base timing and idle, and they all checked out to. One thing though the FSM said was the compression is supposed to be at 185 standard, 156 minimum, with a 14 psi cylinder difference limit. I tested that when i first swapped it in(before i knew the specs) #1-120, #2-135, #3-140, #4-135. That's what i first got. I've ran three cans of restore through it since and havnt had a chance to recheck for any improvement. Any and all help will be appreciated, thanks in advance. By the way...i have the B13\N14 FSM in PDF if any1 wants. covers these models-100NX NX1600 NX2000 Sunny Sentra GA16DE SR20DE SR20DET. 2400 pages of wholesome goodness. lol.

Nothing guys? A buddy of mine referred me to this forum. I'm still hoping for a lil help. Thanks.

have you tried
... the 2 wire coolant temp sensor?
vacuum leaks?
bypass EGR crap
cleaned the IACV?

Wow. I left this site behind a long time ago. Thought I'd never get a response. lol. Well thanks for responding though man. I really appreciate it. I did all of that stuff except the temp sensor. I'm pretty sure it's the compression though man. I tested it and from1 to 4 the psi was 120, 135, 140, 135. The FSM says it's supposed to be @170 IIRC with a Cly difference limit of 14psi between Cyls. The engine came out of a wrecked NX with about 210k on it. It's just wore out man. I'm swapping in a Lowport next weekend anyway
