View Full Version : oil squiters + forged internals ??

I know forged internals take time to heat up, and I know oil squirters are designed to keep stock internals cool. Well I've read that using oil squirters on forged internals make it hard for the internals to heat up in colder weather.

My question is, is it recommended to use oil squirters on forged internals or just buy the golden eagle block off kit...

Thanks for any input :goodjob:

Oil squirters have nothing to do with internals heating up, as their gonna heat up regardless whether it is 0 out or 100 out. They do in fact keep internals cooler and more lubricated though.

Keeping them is a personal preference, people remove them for the benefit of added oil pressure. Thats all i can say

honda used them with forged internals...

they will not affect how the engine warms up. they will affect how lubricated it is, and how cool it runs.

yes, some remove them. i am of the idea that they were put there for a reason, and should be left there.

I built a JDM ITR with Forged internals and Kept the Oil squirters.Like mentioned above, They are there for a reason.....
