photoshop question

ok say i set my camera up on a tri pod and i take say 4 pictures of my truck. one with me sitting in the driver seat, one with me looking under the hood, one with me standing and watching. how do i combine those to look like there is 4 of me in the same picture? and what is that called?

layering all of your images ontop of eachother in photoshop then erasing the portions of the photos that are covering you, for each layer, will give you what you want. do it on the top 2 layers then merge down, repeat til done, to make it less confusing.... ef if I know what that technique is called :P
