okay guys I have around 2 in mind but I am not sure what size will be best for my setup...

82mm 11.6cr with hopefully pro2 cams...

i am also debating between the s2p mani or performer x... what do you guys think???

what brand/size tb and what mani...

For the TB, use a 68-70mm.

The S2 Mani is good.

I havent used a Performer X mani, so I cant vouch..

And i assume this is for a gizzer?

i guess 70mm yea gsr or prbly lsvtec not sure yet i want power but dont want to be unreliable since I will be using stock rods wit rod bolts

We was running a stock f20b throttle body . it was around 65mm and car peaked at 7600 rpms . after putting 70mm on it made power all the way to 8100 . Your motor is alot smaller displacement then mine so a stock f20b throttle body would be fine . Since you got a 70mm i would use it since it want hurt you just no need to go any bigger. If your running pro series cams the 70mm will probably help since them cams are desighned to make hp higher in the rpms then the tunner series. I had 20 people tell me our motor wouldnt make over 240 with the stock throttle body but it made over 250 with it . If you dont get your head port and polished then the throttle body isnt going to help you cause the head want flow what the throttle body will.

Use the sk2 manifold over the performerx, and i had a 65mm tb on my 82mm 11.5cr setup. I would used something between a 65mm-68mm

^^^68-70mm. It will effectively increase velocity having a normal sized throttle body.

lol.... man I would try but I'm trying to port the head and buy a mani so you can do both together... I HIGHLY DOUBT I have the money for it honestly.

id go with 68mm, in my opinion you dont need to go bigger than 68mm on a B series unless its a full stroked out, slaeeved, 13:1 plus compression race motor then id probly go with like a 70mm, im runnin a blox 68mm TB on my gsr making over 200...jhpusa has some blox 68mm TB for only 100..GET ONE

You'll see they come up for $75 plus shipping and its not a fake since I've bought 2 of them and they are real and a higher quality than the blox. they don't stick and they look oem. When you get them its funny though because they shipped them in the factory box turned inside out.

Blox is the cheapest name brand I see and they are 160 shipped. Look for some used ones but buy name brand ones.

Im sure you can find some used Cam gears.. And yea I wouldnt rock the Ebay style or anything NOT brand Cam gears...

I built a GSR for guy, and it had some off brand gears. The timing "marks" dont line up for shit! Its like a tooth off on each side.

good find...just a fyi my blox doesnt stick either also looks like stock one, it doesnt come with the tps though. as for the cam gears dont cheap out on those for the reason black4drek stated
