Looking into possibly moving towards Monroe. Currently live in Athens, work in Winder. Found a house I like in Monroe, just unsure of the area, thought perhaps somebody here may live out that direction. Right off Hwy 11, just N or Monroe. Any infoz IA? Thanks!!

I live in the outskirts its not that bad there are some places in the middle of town but its a nice place, DOOOO ITTTTT lol

yea the out skirt of monroe is not bad ...there is acouple of us from ia that are in that area.... let us know so we can chill

Well, for those of you in the area then, I'm looking at a place just north of Monroe, right off 11. I work in Winder, so.... Perhaps I'll have a small local IA g2g once I'm moved in????

Also, for those of you around there - whats available for internet? Landlord told me there's no cable available, only AT&T, Monroe Utilities or some crap, and some other crappy DSL?? Charter doesn't provide there, but I certainly hope Comcast does.

I have windstream DSL you should be able to get it there. Also hwy11 is a good road to live on in Bethlehem-Monroe area is quiet country.

We have Windstream at work and it is BEYOND terrible, I have no idea how you deal with it, LOL.----

Its ok it just sucks in my area we only have 3mbps :( Then they is comcast or At&t if you don't go Dish

I need to call Comcast and see if they service the area. I can't live with DSL, sorry guys, lol.

Going to look at this one, and a couple other houses Wednesday. Wish me luck. Anybody wanna buy my E36 so I can use some of the money for 1st month/security deposit??? :P
