I just got a 3" cat put on my exhaust today but i have a feeling i'm still not going to pass emissions. any ideas on what i can do to pass? any ideas or suggestions would be much appreciated. The car is currently boosting 10psi. and idles around 1250rpms. a few of the mods are,
Exhaust:
blox manifold
2.5 downpipe
3" exhaust w/ megan racing turbo muffler
(new 3" cat)
Fuel:
aem fuel rail
550cc injectors
walbro 255 fuel pump
fuel pressure regulator w/ gauge
today at emissions the person using the emissions machine told me to get in the car, step on the breaks, put it in first and let of the clutch a little so it would lower the rpms. i got it two around 900rpms with out getting it dangerously close to stalling he said it was barely low enough to get the test started. then as it dynoed engine started getting really hot. (not sure why, it was fine the whole time i was driving before i got there, and the whole time after i left) but the guy seemed frustrated and said to come back tomorrow.
