The only changes since I bought the car are BC Racing coilovers and tint (20% on sides and 32% on windshield.) The coilovers ride great and will allow me to go about 2.5-3 inches lower than where they sit now. I have put 16,500 miles on it since I got it in January and for the most part I haven't had too many problems. Here are just a couple pictures I took while I was bored, nothing special. I am still trying to improve my photography skills so any input is welcome. Thanks.

Thank you.

Thanks. Genesis Coupes look real good with the housings blacked out; but after doing some pain in the ass Saab headlights, I am kinda sketched out on the ease of takinging them apart and putting them back together and making them look perfect. Maybe one day I'll get bored and try it out, but I don't think it will be anytime soon lol.

I mean for the G35's headlights, all you do is just bake them in the oven and you're good to go then bake them again when you want to seal them.

I work at a tint shop called Artistic Tint & Detail. It is located on Roswell Road in Marietta. Give the owner Spencer a call @ (404)399-9461 and tell him Alex sent you and he'll cut you a deal.

That is how the Saab was, but it turned out to be a PITA to break them open. Maybe that's just Saabs being a bitch to work on as usual lol.

Being the first year of production, there has been some minor problems with the Genesis Coupe such as the tranny has a 2nd & 5th gear grind for the M/T models, a few cars have a hood alignment issue, and some other little issues here and there. I have the 2nd & 5th gear grind, but since I changed my tranny fluid with Royal Purple it has pretty much gone away. The change of fluid seems to be a fix for this issue... Other than that the only issue I have had was my paint being swirled from hell during the dealers attempt to buff the car before my delivery, and Hyundai is paying for paint correction by the detailer of my choice. Overall I am pretty happy with the car other than it being pretty slow, but that will change as I make more money lol..
& thank you all for the positive comments... I have some plans for it and I will update as I go along.

That is a very nice genesis! Also sucks to hear about the dealership installing their swirl package for free.

Bored and took some pictures while there was still some snow out.

Plus a litte update: I've now had the car for a year and I've put 20k miles on it. Hyundai put a new transmission a few thousand miles ago due to the grind. Overall I am very happy with the car and the dealer I go to for service, they have no problems fixing and replacing things under warranty.

Do they make any lip spoilers for these cars? I think it would complement the look of the car even more.

They do have optional spoilers from the factory which would have looked good. This pic also shows a lip spoiler.

I can't imagine why you'd want to go any lower, that car sits perfectly.
Looks great!

I have the 2.0T. I recently got the car tuned at Forged Performance which gave me good power gains. I plan on doing a bolt on td05-20g down the road to satisfy my power goal for the car.

I'm putting my 255/35's on the rear next week so it doesn't look soo funny.
I will make an update thread after I clean it and do a few more things here and there.

I had the only black one that was lowered at KSU. There is one other white one that is lowered and goes to KSU as well. Not too many modified genesis coupes at kennesaw.
