I bought a car that rear ended someone. The front end was pushed back a little. I couldnt get the hood open so me and tree had to cut it up and after we got it off this is how the frame looks. Is this totaled? fixable?

Ive seen and even owned a lot worse and you wouldn't have noticed it. A hammer and wench can fix a lot of that back.

By insurance standards becase of its age yes it is. But thats very fixable but I would cut and weld in a new core support

Yep...it's totaled. As long as that radiator isn't leaking I will take it off your hands.....:ninja:

attatch a come along to the bent part (not rope something strong,im sure you knew that thopw but just in case) attatch it too a tree and crank and move till the hood shuts and everything is straight.if you wanna really get into it, torch the bending part and hammer it /tap it to help it come along, the heating helps the metal stay in shape after it moves.hope that helps.i just did my del sol one and it was ALOT worse, and i saved it with no evidence of a wreck remaining except the hood.hope that helps bro

^^^ 9 times out of 10 people just make things worse doing this! Just do it right the first time and dont do more damage!

yea on second though unless your experienced with frame work i would just cut it out and replace it.i agree .not worth the risk
