alright. in my last swap i was runnin a b18a1 with a s1 tranny from a 90 rs integra. this time around im buying a ys1 from a gsr integra. Should i be expecting a big difference in low end power and response?? i've heard its a good difference but i just wanted some other opinions.

Your transmission doesn't make any power. If anything, you may see better acceleration.

i had a 90 teg stock then threw in a b16 tranny it felt a lot better but of course not in power but in acceleration...now i wish i would of gotten a ys1 instead of the b16 LOL

like what they said but to make it more clear, its the gearing that is different.
ls = longest gearing
b16 = short 1st 2nd gear
gsr = short 1st 2nd and has a better 3rd gear compare to b16

first of all, rs/ gs/ ls/ se/ all those are just interior and option difference.
for engine, there are only ls(b18b1,b18a1) /b16 /gsr / integra type r/ civic type r/
a1 is off a b18a1
