I'm looking to build a new computer over the next few months. I'm not all that sharp on the computer stuff so I need to bounce my ideas off people. I know a guy that is going to help me with the actual assembly and he says my choices on hardware are good for what I want but I would like a second opinion.

The computer will be used for basic computing and some light gaming. The only reason I am looking to build is so that I can slowly upgrade to keep fairly current without buying a whole new computer every couple of years.

I do worry about the case having the PS mounted on the bottom though as it might pick up too much dust.

I already have a new HDD and video card

Western Digital 1TB 7500rpm and nvidia 9800GT

I will be loading on Windows 7 64 bit.

Is there anything I am missing? Anything I am going overboard with or going too cheap?
