What years/models do civic and integras have the vtec engines in them? Im looking to buy one just trying to find one that has that motor in it. Im a noob to civics and integras.

Or if you are a big boy, you could pick yourself up a DOHC ZC (pre 1990 integra). it ius a d series with a dohc head.

B series included the B16a a1 a2 a3. b17a1. b18c c1 and c5. civics only came with the b16

f series included f20b and b1

h series included all h22a a1 a4.

k series include all i believe (but more than likely not accurate) with variations of the vtec-e i-vtec, and the performance vtect we al know.

all j series also have vtec.

all of these motors are able to be swapped into a civic. with proper mounts, axles, and knowledge of the wiring it is not as time consuming as most believe.
