1990 Nissan 300zx 2+2 TT
Twin Turbo 5 Speed
148,XXX miles
Needs:
Carrier bearing
A/C compressor
Passenger fender
Passenger headlight lense
Here I have a 1990 300zx 2+2 twin turbo 5 speed. This car was originally a non-turbo but my father and I swapped the motor to a japanese twin turbo engine from a 1992 car. This makes it a rare thing in the US because there were never any 2+2 twin turbo cars made so any that you find have been swapped.
The car had 139,285 miles and the engine had 60,560 km on it when swapped and the car now has 148,XXX miles on it.
The car will need some work before it is considered road worthy but the list is short and for the right person it shouldn't be too big of a project.
The car will need a carrier bearing for the driveshaft or you could convert to a 1-piece shaft instead. It will also need for the A/C compressor to be replaced but I have a replacement to go with the car.
The last issue is cosmetic. Due to an incident with a large dog that happened some time after I completed the turbo swap the passenger side fender and headlight lense (not the whole headlight, just the glass lense) were damaged and have been removed. There is also a dent just in front of the driver side rear wheel but it has been there since before I owned the car.
Aside from these issues the car is complete and working. It has plenty of power and is a blast to drive. It is a shame but I just don't have the time or money to get it on the road right now so I thought I would give someone else a shot at putting this wonderful and beautiful car back on the road.

EDIT:
I just realized from the sound of my description that some might be under the impression that the car is not drivable because of the carrier bearing. This is not the case. The car is definitely drivable and does not vibrate or grind. The bearing should be replaced very soon and I wouldn't take the car on a road trip with it like it is but I have no doubt that it will make it anywhere around ATL if it is driven conservatively. I have had a couple test drives and I crank and drive the car about once a week so please don't think that it is undrivable.
