So we ditched our 2003 Buick Century and picked up a 1997 Pontiac TranSport van. This van was bought back in 1996, brand new, by my grandmother and she kept it up to date with the dealer. My sister got it a couple of years ago when my grandmother passed away and now she has traded my Buick for this just yesterday. This fits our family perfectly, it's still in new condition (just needs a good cleaning) and it will be nice to have something that I can tow with. Here is a pic for now! Later, QD.

Dad had one for 9 years/150k miles and was great except for the numerous blown head gaskets.

I always dreamed of bagging his. Real nice vehicle overall.

As stated, this has been in the family (immediate family) since it came off the showroom floor (my grandparents wouldn't buy anything that sat out in the weather, lolol). It has most all the bells and whistles and everything works perfectly.

I know. The inside really needs it. I can take care of the outside, but I'm looking for a low price interior person.

front window tint FTW...

I'm all over that as well. I'll get it tint matched to the back. Later, QD.

Who are you telling, man? Lolol. And with me having children for the last 20 years of my life, I know what having children is all about, lolol. Later, QD.

Good pickup for the family Mike! Also, you could probly save money by not having to rent a car trailer for the CVCC...Just stuff it in the back! LOL

For real, though, I am getting a hitch for the van so I can get a trailer to pull my car with. Later, QD.

I can't recall what year it was that I drove one of these.. probably back in 2001. But one of my buddies mom would let him borrow her van, and I would always be the DD. I remember these were cool with the red gauges. Theirs was the maxed out package version. It was really nice. It was the first van that I ever drove. I probably drove it around 30+times over the years of knowing him. He would come over to my house and get drunk and mad.. and I would have to drive him home in it.. his mom would just tell me to take it back home and bring it back in the morning and she would ride with me so she could get her van back. I started thinking about these and the Honda Odyssey. I think theirs might have been the Olds version of the same van.

If I ever had to own a van it would be one of these or an Odyssey. The body lines on these vans are just more contemporary compared to the conventional Dodge Caravans.

Also...if you want free help to clean the interior let me know. I have a bunch of stuff to clean carpet and seats in my garage. What kind of dirty we talking here?

Now all you need are the little stickers with your kids and pets for the rear glass.

These only came with the 3400.

gad being old sucks.

If you honestly think that way, then it might just be YOUR life that sucks. My life couldn't be any better.

I don't think so, Tim. Later, QD.
