UPDATE: Bike drop = Price drop. Dent in gas tank small scraches on rear tail fairing, windscreen, mirrors, small tear in rear seat. Sides and front are perfect. Really not that bad at all. Still looks in great condition! First $5000 gets it.
Hello IMPORTATLANTA!
The time has come to let my baby go lol. Actually, I am really just testing waters to see the gauges of interest towards this bike. I just dont have time to ride it as much as i want to, so its kind of pointless to keep holding on to it. This bike has never given me any problems, whatsoever, which is why if i dont get the right price, i will hold on to it. I GAURANTEE you will not find another R6 this clean, and in this good of condition, cosmetically, mechanically, and every aspect you can think of. The pictures that i have posted doesn't event do justice. If you arte truly interested, you will just have to look at it in person and see for yourself.
HISTORY:
I traded my 2002 Acura RSX Type-S for it about a year and a half ago for this bike. I am the third owner of the bike, me being the third. The second owner (whom i traded with) only had it for a few months, couple hundred miles. The first owner was a yamaha tech and was the one who did ALL of the mods (except HID's from muah), so you can be assured everything was done accordingly to specs, and was in good hands. No part on the bike has ever touched the ground except the tires. NEVER laid down. It has been garaged since day one. I wash it once a week on Saturday (on the weeks that i ride it), and never let it sit dirty. I detail for Mecedes-Benz, and kind of made it a habit to just ride it up to my work and clean it when I'm bored at work, which happens ALOT. The paint is my favorite part of the bike. CANDY APPLE RED! It looks so rich in the sunlight, and isn't named that for nothing. It really does look like a melting jolly rancher or something. By far the best painted anything i have EVER owned, and I kept it that way. As for upkeep and maintenance; I changed the oil every 2500 miles with YAMALUBE. The mileage on my speedo is like 11k or so right now, but hear this...Since it has aftermarket sprockets on it (details below in MODS), the gearing is a little shorter. So the speedo is off. I dont know the exact % but it is like 7-11%. So where i am getting is that it is actaully racking up more miles than you are actually riding. It PERSONALLY doesn't bother me, and i got used to it extremely fast. This problem is perfectly normal for anyone who has tampered with the sprockets/gearing on their bikes, which is a whole lot lol. All that is needed, but i have been cheap and didn't want to buy, is a speedohealer. They are only about $100 and can be found on ebay or virtually any bike store. They are a plug and play, enter your bike specs, blah, blah, blah, into system, and it converts the correct speed and everthing.
