Did this one last week with Southernstyle, customer wanted to try and get the orange peel out of the whole thing from the amazingly shitty paint job it had. But unforently it was a very very bad thick single stage paint job. Which in turn sanding the whole thing down was not a great option. So customer decided to just go with getting rid of all the scatches and making it look nice so it can look good sitting with the rest of his car collection.

Orange peel...some areas were even worse than this spot...

That thing is so awesome. IMO the orange peel matches with the history of the car and makes it look more authentic. I know it sounds crazy, but back then there were no computerized paint booths and most classic cars came out with heavy orange peel. That goes for Ford all the way up to Ferrari. Now if he had it repainted and it came out like that then that's another story.

Actually this one was repainted. The guy who repainted it did a pretty shitty job. It was a pretty thick range single stage. Some areas measure 9 mils all the way up to 18 mils in some areas.

You would probably be interested in the vehicles hiding on the other side of the wall then. ;)

Wow that thing looks beautiful, would look even better without that Auburn tag on the front though
