Hey guys,
I need a daily again, so it's time for the bike to part ways. So, here goes...
2000 Suzuki Savage
Just over 15k mile
Solid rear frame
Chopped rear fender
Bobbed
Custom seat (covered in faux alligator skin)
LED Blinkers
Ammo Box mounted for storage (Water tight)
Straight Piped
Reliable as hell
Gets around 50-60 MPG
Great Paint
Cons:
It's Dirty. I haven't cleaned it because I was going for more of a bomber style. Dirty and loud. However, a day spent with some aluminum polish and a rag would have this thing sparkling.
It' loud. It could be a con. It could be a pro. Regardless, this bike is loud as hell. The exhaust is a little beat up. No idea why. It wasn't from a drop or lay down. I was either going to weld in a baffle and wrap it in header wrap (White would look bad ass) or I was going to buy a stock exhaust.
The headlight bracket is a little messed up. I'll be fixing it this week, but if it sells before then it's really not a big deal. It's being secured by a bungee cord right now, and the headlight works just fine.
This bike is super fun to drive and is pretty torquey for its size. If you're 6'5 (MerkDiesel, for example) you won't fit on it too well. I'm 5'11 and fit perfectly on it. Handles nice, and cruises on down the road flawlessly.
