Stripped Bolt

Hey I have a stripped bolt on my caliper its a 16mm socket size bolt and i need to get this off to replace my rotor(doing breaks).. the bolt is still in havent turned once and the socket ate the bolts head and now i cant get a good grip.. What are myoptions to go about gettign this bolt out? I dont want to put the wheel back on and drive to a shop that is my last resort.. Please if you can help me thank you or put me in contact with someone in the atlanta area that can resolve this issue for me..

if needed this is on a 94 318is .. its the front driver side caliper... lower 16mm bolt.. i have a pic if you are interested in helping me for real i will email pics via iphone of the bolt.. email me if wanna see the pics to get a better idea of what is going on.. ill try to upload pic to forum tommarow..

vise grips or pip wrench

Im located in covington, GA.. I tried snapping some vice grips on there... it just didnt move anything.. it shaved some metal off the bolt that was it.. tried that like a week ago... i keep pb sprayed on the bolt then i wipe it off before it try the bolt... no luck :thinking:...

I just bought some stripped bolt remover set by craftsman i got from sears.. gonna try it this after noon and see what happens...

im next to conyers the stripped bolt remover will do well tap it on the slowly reverse the ratchet tap it again then pull that sucker off

i suggest the craftsman kit he posted, but i believe i bought the irwin? setup from advanced auto and it worked excellent. just tap the socket on with a hammer. try getting it as far as possibly because when you push down on the socket wrench it will twist the socket off unless you apply pressure on the socket wrench to keep it from torquing sideways when you twist it.
