I'm in the process of doing the first J32 swap right into one right now.

its priced right, but the hybrid MPG's are not up to standards but its made to be a sports car that is fun so i guess it has to suffer somewhere. From what ive heard its based off of an insight, and a K in an insight is not unheard of, well...atleast the previous generation of insight.

i think a k in a crz should be fairly reasonable as far as power goes, just not very cost efficient haha. i mean figure 19grand or so base price and then the swap=a hard hit in the wallet.

Are you serious. How did you get a hold of one already.

While normally I would drag this out... I just can't this time.

No I wasn't serious, I don't have one nor am I doing a J32 swap.

Well in that case pardon my ignorance, my sense of humor is nulled by text

haha notice i had no comment on the j32 swap. though had i believed you had one before the release date i would have just assumed you had wayyyy to much money to throw around.

That money goes to hookers and cocaine.

I like these cars, but I don't know why the hybrid drivetrain is necessary. When I first saw the concept, I thought it'd be a successor to the CRX and have a small naturally aspirated gasoline engine...good competition for the Mini and the likes.

Oh well. I like how they look.

i agree it would have been a much better successor to the crx chassis. performance wise i'm betting the lag from the hybrid systems will deter most drivers from it.

I read a magazine article about the CRZ and they basically said that the CVT is good for gas mileage but makes the car a complete bore, while the 6MT is more fun but negates the benefits of the hybrid gas mileage.

I think they could have done a lot better with the car.
