my 94 Low N Slow integra is overheating!
what i have noticed, radiator is boiling over into reservoir, and if i dont catch it,(turn off and put water in it) then it starts to over heat.
i have noticed that it will do it at idle, and after running for a for a few minutes...
the oil isnt milky and the coolant is pretty clear (50/50)
i dont see any white smoke. nor do i see any coolant leaking.
i havent payed attention to the fan completely but i have noticed that it turns on.
what could be causing the boiling over and eventually overheating?
(when i say coolant appears clear, i mean that i have recently changed it (50/50) and it still overheats and the color is the same) (it WAS pretty damn cloudy before hand)
have had the car for 2 weeks.

maybe replace the radiator cap and thermostat. hell, i had a integra that i got and it didnt even have a thermostat inside the housing before.

take the valve cover off and check if its milky, i had the same problem, and i replaced the head gasket and it ran fine after,

agreed with checking the consistency off the oil. if it is milky you will have a problem with the head gasket.

if not, then replace items in this order, thermostat - fan switch (if your fan is not coming on) - fan (again if the fan is not coming on) - radiator. you do not have to replace the radiator cap as is has an overflow tank.

also, when was the last time your water pump and timing belt was replaced. if you have more than 120k miles and have no idea when it was done last, it is a likely culprit.

i do timing belts/waterpumps for 225 and takes about 4 hours.
