Yeah, it's not exactly rocket science to keep a car's paint clean and shiny. But looking at 80% of the member's cars on here you'd think that washing and waxing a car is the worst thing you could do.

But looking at 80% of the member's cars on here you'd think that washing and waxing a car is the worst thing you could do. i wish that i could say i just did washes and wax. car has been clayed about 5 times and wet sanded a lil in some spots and then waxed numerous times in a month time period. i have more time in the cleaning of the car than anything ive done so far .

I'm not knockin' ya at all man, my comment is more directed toward those who make the obvious comments about having a "clean" car. Anyone who regularly takes care of their car's exterior knows the time that can go into it...I sure know I spend a lot of time keeping mine looking shiny as well ;)

QFT. My mustang sat outside and got beat up by the weather. As long as you take care of it and always have some wax on it to protect the paint...you're good to roll.

The outside looks nice. I see you want a really nice car, wanna know what I see wrong? Look at your under hood. That looks TERRIBLE and I can see your engine bay looks dirty as fuck too. Stop off at a pressure washing car wash and clean that ish.

my engine bay is not really dirty its my hood and am not gonna clean it cuz im going CF soon and have my dumptube put on.
