I haven't been to a Nopi event since 2002 and im glad i stopped going. It is dead and soon will be gone and over. I feel so bad for the owner of the Lambo i hope he moved over a few spaces :ninja:

i was there all day both days. i rode with justin saturday (the guy with the blue bagged accord cb7tuner) and today sunday i drove my s2k. and justin was a winner so congrats to him. the only part i didnt realy like was those wanna be rappers and young jock

I only went because it was the first event since I got my car back and wanted to go and chill and show off the ride. I looked at approximately zero cars. No vendors/ manufacture participated other than the desperate ones... for those who thought it was a good show obviously have never been to a nopi show back when it was a real super show. wining at a competition that has no competition is not a accomplishment.

You go to local car shows. Not big corporate shows. Anyone who has any knowledge of NOPI shows and judging knows that this isn't the place. Now if you're into the whole modified Honda thing and like to go see a bunch of cars and all, it was the place to be.

An example from this past weekend. A judge walked up to Paul's car and asked him if it was a VW. He said he wasn't sure because it had Mercedes wheels on it. Hmmmm. Later, QD.

Nopi def isn't what it used to be, but I would def have gone if i knew there would have been wide body/ front end conversions/ originality in the cars that make them diff from one another!!!!!

Damn shame. Damn shame Atlanta can't come together. Everyone pissing on everyone. Looking at this is sad as SELOC used to love going to NOPI and while it had faults there was nothing else like it. Like many here I saw prices go up and judging continue to miss the mark and well, look at what we have. This is in our backyard and its sad to see it like this.

Then I see the cars at the F&F casting and am like WTF? Then IA and its more WTF?

they said at the show they wanted to get back in their Sept. spot but I'm guessing they'll have to make a deal with AMS and their "Motorsports Nationals" show they now hold. the show was small and out dated I wouldn't call that a horro story. its exactly what you should have expected it to be.
