okay so im having a problem here. i am running a kicker 1500.1 amp and it will be on one sub. do i need a dual 4 ohm or 2 ohm sub. i think 4 ohm so i can run it at 2 ohm and utalize all my amps power. because to get all the amps power i would hafta run the 2 ohm sub at 1 ohm and my amp is not 1 ohm stable. so am i right by picking the 4 ohm sub?

Yes, that is correct. If you are going to run only one sub, dual 4ohm sub wired in parallel would be the choice if you are trying to get full power out of the amp. If you wanted less power from the amp than 2500rms (birth sheet is a little more), you would want a dual 2ohm sub and wire it in series so the amp will see 4ohms.

yeah get the DVC 4 ohm subwoofer, if your amp is not 1 ohm stable you will likely end up damaging it trying to use it at 1 ohm.

i have a t3 tss and loved it but it just stopped working so i have the choice of a solo x 2 ohm or a rockford t2 4 ohm so i guess ill run the t2. the solo x wouldnt get enough power runnin at 4 ohm.

Between the two, I would go with the T2 anyway.
